Dr. Tim Sullivan

Our newest Doctor to join the team at the Uptown Animal Hospital is an Andersonville neighborhood resident!

His partner Mike and he moved into the area in April of 2016. They love everything about their house, their neighbors and all that Clark Street has to offer. Their 2 rescue doggies tell them how much they love this neighborhood also. Ellie is an 11-year-old Terrier mix and Copper is a 10 1/2-year-old Beagle mix. They also have Calvin, an 11-year-old rescue domestic short hair cat. And they are their 4-legged children!

Dr Sullivan is a local Chicagoland native having been born and raised in the north suburb of Libertyville. He attended the University of Illinois for both undergrad and vet school, graduating in 1983. He then went to work with his veterinarian brother Ed at his Mundelein Animal Hospital. He eventually purchased the practice and loved the clients and pets he served until selling the practice then leaving in 2016. He worked part time until just recently at a practice in Des Plaines, IL.

Dr Sullivan is excited to work in his hometown and at Uptown Animal Hospital. When asked he said “There is nothing I enjoy more than being in the exam room with a client and their pet, whether it be keeping them healthy with a wellness exam or bringing them back from ill health. “
